About the Company

We are currently looking for an Accountant with French to join our client’s Finance team based in Poznań. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with initial experience who is looking to develop their career in an international Shared Services Center (SSC) environment while working closely with French-speaking business partners.

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day accounting operations within Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and/or General Ledger (GL)

Perform account reconciliations, postings, and month-end closing activities in line with internal standards

Communicate with French-speaking stakeholders, mainly via email and occasionally by phone

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial data with internal procedures

Cooperate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve process efficiency

Participate in process optimization and automation initiatives

Prepare financial reports and analyses using Excel and internal systems

Requirements

Fluency in French (minimum B1 level) — required for daily communication

At least 1 year of accounting experience

Good command of English (minimum B2 level)

Strong Excel skills (considered a strong advantage)

Proactive attitude, openness to change, and interest in continuous process improvement

Experience in an SSC / Shared Services environment is highly appreciated
